Yeah, didn't you guys use Source specifically for Faceposer?

Is there an equivalent package you're using for UE?

Fashioned - are you on the PnP chat? You can post there and I'll read it later. I don't follow the forum thread as much.

Definitely either DX1 or Adrift, Greg. System Shock 2's an honorable mention especially for the intro character gen.

Re: Consortium - The Pen & Paper (& Internet) Group

Not understanding dice rolls is no excuse, guys. It's super simple and I shall teach ya'll.

Dice Roll + Modifiers = Target Number?

If Yes, Action Succeeds

If No, Action Fails

There's more to it than that, but if you can wrap your head around that simple concept, that's all you really need to know.

Re: Consortium - The Pen & Paper (& Internet) Group

Okay, since we've got a lot of newbies, I'll stick to Traveller as a base system. Fairly simple - I like it for the random event tables, the worldgen, the shipgen, and the chargen systems. In short - it's the perfect Sci-Fi episode simulator, and that's really what Consortium 1 was channeling throug...

Re: Consortium - The Pen & Paper (& Internet) Group

I'm thinking the game is set in the early years - on a prototype craft before Stormbird. No PCUs or BUSs, just nanoweave spidersilk kevlar and some skull-cracking as part of a multidiscipline team. No Seekering. No Guardian Churching. Only hints at that stuff behind the scenes - off comments by the ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQEVgbMqq7o CONSORTIUM - THE ROLEPLAYING GAME. More specifically, hello Seekers! Welcome to Consortium: The Roleplaying Game. No, I didn't make a system. Yes, I'll be homebrewing it to all hell. It'll either be some variant of Shadowrun, Traveller, or D20 Modern, dep...

Re: What games you've been playing?

I've been playing Morrowind trying to explore the new lands from Tamriel Rebuilt. It gets crashy and the game doesn't autosave, though. :(

Waiting for some good FO4 creation kit stuff to come out. Idk when it really releases.

Re: Fanart

Posted because Lionysus/Vennir asked me to on Twitch. A little draft of a Consortium fanfic. In the Dragon's Shadow They called him Bishop Two. He was the best of them. A fun-loving hero in a blue supersuit – battling criminals, saving hostages, and showing the world the beautiful future that the C...

Re: Bathroom Morse Code

That's 28 characters. IMO it needs to be 21 characters to be correct - that's the recurring number especially in P32's code 2121.

Re: Your favorite Consortium character?

Taryn is a little too perfect. Wheats is definitely more interesting of the Knights - a real hardass, though he doesn't show that to the Queen or K15. I'm really interested in Knight 5 and Bishop 1, only shown in 1 article. Very lethal.

So is -.---.---.---.-.-.-- Or this .-..-..-..---. The accurate one? Either way we just need to play with the breaks to get something sensical - which we may have to unscramble. EDIT: After listening and reading the audacity stream, I'm getting this: -...- ...-- - ...- -.-.-.-- But the breaks are non...

Re: Expanded Simulation stretch goal...

So what're you looking to simulate, exactly? Insofar as Consortium 1 isn't really a simulation - it's more of an experience with some events you can miss, or not miss. What exactly can you 'expand' from that? I agree that it'd be insane work to make essentially multiple experiences - but I'm not rea...

Re: Your favorite Consortium character?

[Pawn 11: Adelle Durand; I agree that I wish there was more to talk to her about. Pawn 44: Charlie Lewis; He's the one in the bunk at the beginning playing a game with his brother. I wouldn't call him "excitable" but he does talk really fast. Did you mean Pawn 12, David Benedict? He's the one goes ...

Re: Expanded Simulation stretch goal...

The biggest qualm, I think, with Game One was one thing: certain triggers made certain events happen. There was no getting around it - it forced you, as the Bishop, to encounter certain events within the simulation. We're talking three major ones: The VT scenario to trigger Kiril's arrival, talking ...

Re: Your favorite Consortium character?

I've always been partial to Pawn 11 and Pawn 44, I think they are? The really excitable Pawn and the not-Patricia Frenchwoman. Two interesting characters, although we never get a chance to really talk to 11 like we do the rest.

Ladies and gents - we're now at 96%.

The iDGi Mandate has begun again. Better get a Fig post up redirecting backers and investors to here. Now we need to build the movement.

Re: What games you've been playing?

H&D needs a sequel. Its inventory management and stealth aspects put it so far ahead of any other game in real small unit warfare.

In a lot of ways, it's a WW2 ARMA.
